Richard Collier is a Professor of Law at Newcastle University and member of the Legal Professions Wellbeing Taskforce. Richard has recently been awarded a Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowship for a project entitled 'Wellbeing, Law and Society: Politics, Policy and Practice - A Socio-Legal Study'.
Richard has also been awarded some funding by the national charity Anxiety UK to look at experiences of anxiety amongst junior lawyers (up to 5 years' PQE) and has funding for travel to meet with junior lawyers. Richard is keen to speak to any junior lawyers who have experiences of anxiety, looking at perceived causes, organisational responses and understanding of anxiety in the legal profession. Interviews would be completely anonymous and it is hoped meetings would be around 45minutes to an hour.
If any junior lawyers are able to assist Richard with his work, please can they contact him directly by email on richard.collier@newcastle.ac.uk.
