Counsellors
LawCare maintains a database of counsellors who have knowledge of the legal profession, either because they are former lawyers, or because they have a close family member who is a lawyer, or some other connection. Many callers to our helpline prefer to speak to a counsellor who can relate to their professional difficulties.
The counsellors are all private individuals and are not employed by LawCare. Fees will normally have to be paid by the client. For more information about counselling, download our Counselling Information Pack.
We plan to list these counsellors on the site in the near future. In the meantime call the helpline on 0800 279 6888, or the admin line on 01268 771333 for details of counsellors in your area.
If you are a counsellor who has a connection with the legal profession, and would like to be included in LawCare's database and on the website, please call 01268 771333.
We currently have no counsellors listed for the Republic of Ireland. If you are an Irish counsellor with a connection to the legal profession, please contact LawCare on + 44 1268 771333. If you are looking for a counsellor in Ireland, contact the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.iacp.ie) or look in your local Yellow Pages. The following links to counsellors, coaches, professional development agencies and professional bodies are provided for your information. Inclusion of links on the LawCare website does not indicate our endorsement of the company/organization/individual or the site, neither does the absence of a link indicate our disapproval.
